真相：他杀还是自杀？
2003年2月3日清晨，40岁的过气女演员兼酒吧服务员Lana Clarkson被发现死在63岁的行为古怪的天才音乐制作人Phil Spector在洛杉矶郊外的一座豪宅里。警察到达现场时发现死者坐在豪宅大厅的椅子上，死于嘴里唯一的枪伤。 Phil Spector被指控谋杀，最终于2007年3月接受审判。历时数月的真实审判过程在2007年9月结束，因陪审团意见无法达成一致，法官不得不宣告审理无效。案件的分歧在于，是Spector在他的数次酒后疯狂行为中，将枪放在Lana的嘴里并扣动了扳机，还是Lana的情绪沮丧而绝望到以自杀结束了自己的生命。

Truth: Homicide Or Suicide?
February 3, 2003, the 40-year-old fading movie star and actress Lana Clarkson was found dead in the mansion of 63-year-old eccentric music genius Phil Spector’s mansion in the Los Angeles suburb. When the police arrived, the dead was found in slumped in a chair in the foyer of the mansion, a single gunshot wound to her mouth. Phil Spector was charged with the murder and finally went on trial in March 2007. The trial, which after several months, ended in a mistrial in September, 2007, for the jury could not reach a verdict, revolved around whether Spector, in one of his alcohol-fueled rages, put a loaded gun in Lana,s mouth and pulled the trigger or whether she was despondent and desperate enough to have committed suicide.
On June 2, 3, 2008, there will be a second trial of this case in the Moot Court Room of CUFE. What new facts would be brought by the new judges, new jury and the new attorneys of the prosecution and the defense? On both days, 4 Fulbright scholars from America and 12 jury members of students from the University of International Business and Economics will hear the debates from students of law school in CUFE and make the new decision.
